1st some of our favorites:
Winking Owl $2.99 (750ml)- this is purchased exclusively from Aldi grocery stores. All varieties of reds have been good. Although, there does not seem to be much difference in the varieties (maybe due to the fact that we drink them all on one night) they do not give heartburn or bad hangover. They are great table wines, very easy to drink and non offensive.
Inglenook $5.99 (1.5L) - purchased from Publix, this is widely available. I first turned my nose up at this "typical" California wine, I was surprised at the taste. We bought the Cabernet, and although it is light for a Cab, its not bad. Similar to the Winking Owl, it is very drinkable and heartburn free.
